"The
event was a huge success and Sparky did a remarkable job. He is very good at pulling in children to this stall which
kept him busy all day.
Please pass my kind regards on to him and hopefully look forward to seeing him again next
year!
Thanks"

"Just a word of thanks and appreciation
to you both for your work at the Gala. I could see from the children's faces, and the noise of their laughter, that they
really engoyed your performances, as did a lot of the adults too!"

"Booked Urban Circus
for our wedding as we had 26 children and they were brilliant. Interacted with the children and nothing was a problem. Stayed
on longer than anticipated as well and kept everyone entertained from 9 months to 14 years. Strongly recommend them. "

"We really enjoyed your
visit, the kids have talked about nothing else since. Thanks for your energy, enthusiasm and encouragement. It really was
a day they will cherish in their memories well past their time here at Heathyryburn. Kind regards,

Good friends of the Illuminations, Dundee's Cake n Candy are back to entertain us again this year. Firm favourites
with small and big kids alike, Cake n Candy have been involved with the modern day illuminations since the first one back
in 2004.
Candy is a highly skilled stilt walker, juggler and all round circus act performer.
A member of the Equity Artists Union, she has performed at over 500 events throughout the United Kingdom.
Over the
years she has always entertained and enthralled visitor to the illuminations. Never one to turn down a photo opportunity,
Candy's ability to engage and interact with the audience has undoubtedly helped give many children memories of the illuminations
that will stay with them forever.
This year she returns as Alva Glen's Tallest Illuminated Faerie, ready
to greet you at the entrance and welcome you to a night of mystical beauty. The one night in the year where faeries, elves,
humans and many other creatures of the glen come together to celebrate life and enjoy the spirit of community.
The air filled with electric anticipation, the glen providing the earthly backdrop and gently rumbling waters. There's
only one element missing - Fire!
Enter the Dragon (aka Cake). Since 2004 Cake has entertained us with his stilt
walking, unicycling and juggling skill. This year he returns once more to set the illuminations alight with his stunning ability
to control and juggle with fire.
